“The Health Center stands for something significant – hope, progress, a better future.”

Promoting health in and outside of the exam room
Lowell Community Health Center was founded in 1970 to make sure that everyone in Greater Lowell has access to quality and culturally responsive health care. Your gift will help us continue to honor the values that have guided our work for more than five decades.
As an independent, 501(C)(3) nonprofit, we must raise 20% of our $80M+ annual budget through grants and individual donations. Your support makes all the difference by helping close the gap between what insurance pays for and what our patients need to get, and stay, healthy.
There are many ways you can make an impact. Visit here to learn how.
Meet Team Hypertension

“I’ve heard from so many patients how working closely with the team…they can’t even put into words how much that means. That support makes them feel seen and heard.”
Read how we’re transforming hypertension care through collaboration and connection. Your support makes it possible. Give Now.
Insurance covers less than two-thirds of our patients’ cost per visit cost. Your gift today helps us close that gap and continue to care for patient needs with services like:
- Health insurance counseling
- Medical interpreters
- Referrals to housing, food assistance, and other resources
- Health screenings and education in community settings
The harsh reality is that none of these vital services are covered by insurance – but are utilized by an estimated 75% or more of our patients.
“You treat me like I really matter. I am alive because of you all here at Lowell CHC.”
