Board of Directors
Lowell Community Health Center is governed by a consumer majority Board of Directors. New members are invited to join the Board every few years. The Board reflects the cultural diversity of the Health Center's patients and staff, as well as the diversity of the City of Lowell. The Board of Directors meets monthly and works to enhance the public image of the Health Center, monitors the adherence to the Health Center's mission, sets policy and direction and works closely with Health Center staff from different Health Center programs, departments and sites.
The Board of Directors also works to promote financial and institutional sustainability by monitoring budgets and resources. Board members assist in program and management development strategies, policy review and represent the health center in various settings.
